Hoooolllllyyyyy frick, dude.
We run an almost perfectly balanced offense. We average around 250 yards passing and 250 yards rushing.
Why would they frick that up by throwing the ball unnecessarily? Our team gameplans around running AND throwing. Your team gameplans around throwing it as much as possible.
If you can't see how that will cause an imbalance in stats then I can't help you.

Really hate to see all this bickering. We haven't done shite really in the last 15 years. I will say for those younguns on here, back in the late 90s early 2000s when Texas and OU were clicking, the big 12 was ridiculously hard to win. Add in a Nebraska program that resembles nothing of its present self and that championship game becomes as competitive as any. Personally, I love the tradition of Ole Miss and would love to visit for a game. Have to be a guys trip though.

We had 6TOs last year and probably 3 of them were unforced. In what world is that lucky?
As for this year, here's objectivity: when you all played Vandy, you were facing a mediocre QB behind a mediocre line (with no run threat) throwing to 1 badass and a bunch of other mediocre receivers. In other words, you all had one job: cover Matthews. Double team him, triple team him, quadruple team him, whatever. Just don't let him touch the ball. Your secondary still managed to epically frick it up and let him go for almost 200 yards.
Evans is at least as good as Matthews and the rest of our receivers are far better than Vandy's. Our OL won't let your pass rushers get within 5 yards of JFF and on the 3 occasions that you all do, he's going to make a few nifty moves and run/throw for 30 yards+ on that play.
Our defense sucks (though we have some young talent, so it will improve as the season progresses). Congrats. You're going to move the ball and rack up yards. Congrats You're going to score 35-45 on us. Congrats. Problem is, Manziel and the rest of our offense can easily match that. If they need to, they'll score 50 on that charmin soft bunch you all call a secondary.
Mark your calendars: on Oct 12, after our bye week, Dr. Sumlin is heading to Oxford to give the rebs a splintery, 2' plywood enema. It's going to painful.

Last year, we signed the best QB in Texas and this year we're signing the best QB in the country. We've got tons of WR and RB talent on campus and Sumlin is doing a great job bringing in D talent, especially at DT. We aren't a 1 man team.

Bo Wallace might start for Ms.State or Florida(now) but I doubt he would see the field at any other SEC program.
