At the 10:25 mark Urlacher is commenting on JFF and says Bama has a NFL D with all the guys getting drafted on that side of the ball.
Contrary to most people here on the rant, I will take urlacher's opinion on the Alabama D over anybodys. Probably the best D in the SEC when all is said and done.
Does anyone disagree that this is the most talented defense in the SEC this year? Why?

Florida's defense is legit. Probably take them based on what I've have seen.
Alabama's defense is going to be very good as usual though. They will be better than what they showed against A&M.

I agree. usually one of the best D's in the country and they give up 42 and over 600 yds of O.
what I thought was interesting was the comment after about the guys getting drafted...bama always has a lot of guys get drafted on D but does this game alone hurt the overall chance for guys to get drafted off this D in next years Draft class?

no NFL defense would give up 42 to a college offense even on it's worst day.

Yep, I don't see how they have that type of day again (Saban will definitely get on them too). It'd be interesting to see how much they improve by the LSU game.

in 2011 they were. This year there are maybe 2 or 3 guys who will start on sundays
