BearBait09 the Baylor guy requesting forum access, is a RL friend, co-worker, roommate. He's forgotten more about the X's and O's of college football than I know. Dont judge him based on his request thread. Hes good people and very knowledgable. Yes he bleeds Baylor, but he also love the Aggies (weird I know)

If you are vouching for him, I'll make a vote thread. Its up to you guys to decide whether or not he has access. Tbird and myself just want to make sure that we don't give any alters/trolls a chance. I'll make a vote thread and you guys decide

I vote yes. If you're lying and he's your alter or some such business and he does something weird this could be wildly entertaining. It's a win win IMO

Hes not an alter, hes a Baylor grad and a co-worker. But hes not delusional. He wont be trolling. Probably wont post too much as we do most of our conversating in person. However he does have somewhat of a outsiders perspective on the SEC etc that I find to be rather refreshing coming from a Big 12 foe. If he fricks up just ban him, but I assure you he wont.

Like HKIC said, we'll let y'all vote on him next week if you're vouching for him. Would have been better to give one of us a heads up in advance though, so we don't assume shenanigans (because we will). Situations like this are what tArk email (aggyarksecr@gmail.com) is for.

Well I figured it would be put up to a vote like most and I was going to mention it once we opened the vote thread.
However, he came into my office after he got the overwhelming no and said "I just got treated like I was a longhorn trying to get into the Aggie boards" the look on his face was priceless.
Kinda felt bad for the guy. haha.

Yeah, WCA and I usually screen those who want access before they get a vote thread. Cuts down on clutter and weeds out trolls, you understand Everyone doesn't just get an automatic vote thread because they ask for access.
Good luck to your friend, at any rate. Even if he doesn't get in on the first try, tell him to stick around and prove himself on the main rant boards and maybe he can get in later. If he has as much football knowledge as you say and isn't interested in flaming/trolling, it'll show
