A big away win over Texas really helped Ole Miss's case. Away games points are multiplied by 1.5, and in the beginning I based the pods on the AP preseason polls...who really overrated Texas.

It should once most teams start losing. Right now there are a ton of "big name" schools who I don't have ranked because they have a combination of less than three games played and only playing bullshite schools. Hell the only reason LSU is ranked at all is TCU was overrated. It was even worse last week when I had Bowling Green #6 and Utah #13

We're at the bottom of Pod 1, but we'd skullfrick half the teams above us. All of the others, including Bama (albeit with a slight edge), are toss-ups. How, exactly, did you come up with these rankings?

Moon polls typically don't make much sense til the midpoint of the season anyway, broham

However, props on the OP for putting in the time/effort in getting one of these together. I've thought about doing one myself, maybe next season when I'm done with school.

Enlarge the photo to read the specifics. I made the initial pods based on the AP preseason poll, and update them (by promoting the green teams and relegating the red teams) every two weeks. Bama has 6 points from a neutral site win over VTech (1.5 points) and an away win over A&M (3*1.5 = 4.5)

Texas A&M is lacking any significant points because they only have home wins against Rice (.6 points) and Sam Houston St. (.333 points). They are currently ranked 46

I get it. Just don't agree with it in September.

Totally agree. I'll post another update in a couple weeks once stuff starts evening out. I expect it to be damn near on point with the BCS poll in week 8, but we'll see.

Without your system you could have let a classroom of kindergartners draw from a fricking bowl and get the same shite.
