I was a little surprised myself to hear that many people made the trip. My buddy is out there right and said Portland is full of Vol fans right now too, and that the variety of beer is amazing

7k would be nuts. I don't think we've had that many opposing fans. Most of the time it's the usual 2500.

Mods on UTs rivals page said that the 5500 tickets given for UT fans sold out almost immediately and that Section 4 is where all the fans are going that couldn't get one of the 5500

Most SEC schools travel very well. When LSU played in Seattle back in 2009, approximately 15-20K Tiger fans made the trip.

I heard 7k were expected. That was a while back though. A lot of Vol fans really had a great time with Ducks fans at Neyland. Y'all showed up wearing "WE HATE KIFFIN" T-shirts and so the bond was instant. That and great interaction we had with Ducks fans made a lot Vol fans want to make the return trip.
