IMO, he got bailed out against Notre Dame also. That's my biggest gripe with him, at times he tries to do too much (playing the ball off the bounce and stuff like that). He even had a crazy moment against Va Tech.

However, he was beyond solid in his debut as a return guy in the BCS game in New Orleans. When Maze got nicked up, I was like oh crap. CJ22 stepped in and handled the job like a vet.

I might be wrong, but I think that they are taught to play it off the bounce like that if they can.

yeah, true.

and being that as it may, he only lost one fumble last year, though. I can live with that.
