He lost one. The refs bailed him out against Arkansas and another went out of bounds.

ETA: To answer the OP, I don't think he is the kind of return guy teams purposefully kick away from, but he is good enough to make them pay if their kick coverage isn't good.

IMO, he got bailed out against Notre Dame also. That's my biggest gripe with him, at times he tries to do too much (playing the ball off the bounce and stuff like that). He even had a crazy moment against Va Tech.

However, he was beyond solid in his debut as a return guy in the BCS game in New Orleans. When Maze got nicked up, I was like oh crap. CJ22 stepped in and handled the job like a vet.
