1. Told y'all Georgia wasn't dead yet.
Aaron Murray played spectacularly and Georgia's in pretty decent shape after week two. Yes, they'd prefer to be 2-0, but the Bulldogs won the most important game of their two openers. Now Georgia has a 1.5 game lead over South Carolina.
If Georgia beats LSU and Florida then the Dawgs will win the SEC East.
In fact, run the table the rest of the way, as Georgia will be favored to do, and there's a very good chance the SEC title game will be another national semifinal, win and you play for the BCS title.
So the Bulldogs are right where they were when the season began, right in the thick of the national title race.

6. How bad has USC become under Lane Kiffin?
Truly awful.
If you'd seen the reaction of the USC fans at the end of the Washington State game -- I was in an LA bar filled with USC fans -- you'd know why I believe there's no way Kiffin is back as coach next year.
There was some anger, but even worse, there was much more resignation. Okay, we suck, what's next? Fans had moved past the hot seat talk and there was already focus and speculation on who the next coach should be.
Come hell or high water you used to be able to say that Kiffin was a good coach of quarterbacks. That's no longer the case. So what's Kiffin's big selling point now? Pretty simple, he doesn't have one.
I'm not sure how early in the season Kiffin could get fired, but there's a pretty decent chance that Utah State comes into the Coliseum and pulls off the upset in two weeks. The rest of USC's schedule just looks like one landmine after another. This season could turn into an epic implosion, when the Trojans finish below .500.
Really, it could.
Later this week I'll have my list of potential coaches for the USC job.
In the meantime, know this, Kiffin is done at USC.

You've had two different HCs since Lane used you as as stepping stone, time to move on...

Idk... that was a fairly egregious move for a profession like that.

Anything bad happening to Spiffy iffy is good to me...except he maried a hot woman whose dad played at UF...hopefully she leaves and takes everything.

Kiffin lost 6 of last 8 games at USC

Unless they fall totally apart, Kiffin will probably be there another year. They can sign 20 this year, because they only signed 13 last year. Next year will be their last under sanctions. Let him sign a stellar class in February and see how 2014 goes. If it's bad, the new coach will be able to sign the full allotment and have 85 scholarships available. Stuck at 75 now.

I don't think it was a prediction, moreso him just saying.
Honestly I think we win the east if we beat LSU. Even if we lose to UF, which I definitely wouldn't say we will, I think they'll lose to LSU and SC.

Clemson's offense is light years better than LSU's. SC's is comparable.
As long as Todd Gurley is on the field I won't worry too much.

In regards to USC, What people fail to realize is what "crippling" probation does to you. When I say "crippling" I don't mean 2 schollies and a stern warning. I mean what Bama, USC, PSU and the 1996 Miami Hurricanes got.
25 plus scholarships lost.
a bowl ban or two year bowl ban.
Limit of 75 players total (meaning you have to actually cut off some scholarshipped players as well)
Take Bama's in 2001. We lost around 25 scholarships. That means those players go somewhere else. Remember how good AU was between 2002 and 2007? hmmmm.
Not even talking about sheer numbers. Everybody has 85 players and you have 59. 30 of which probably shouldn't be on scholarship but they were all you could get. I remember watching us circa 2003 and 04 and we had a multitude of players that wouldnt have been at Alabama and frankly were in danger playing the SEC.
Next, players dont want to go to a school that cant bowl. They also talk to each other and find out that this one isn't going because of probation and that so I'm not gonna go either.
Fans lose interest, students lose interest. Players lose interest. If you are on probation 3 years, it usually takes 3 years past the end of limitations to start coming out of it. We had restrictions in 02, 03, 04,. 2008 was our first full 85 player team not recruited under sanctions and remember the difference in our talent level from 2003 to 2007 and how it went up in 2008.
Shula wasnt a great coach but he wasn't 4-9 either. That was all due to probation.
SC will be good again...in 2016 when they have had 4 full classes of 25 and no sanctions pending. The time the investigation is going on is a de facto probation because who wants to take a chance going there when they might get hammered. Sc will have a bad team this year and next. Maybe 15 wins total.
Nick Saban, Woody Hayes or Vince Lombardi couldn't win at SC as things are right now.

This is a completely honest question that I'd like a bama fan's perspective on. And it's obviously hypothetical so spare me the LSU side of things.
If Saban became bama's coach in 2003, what do you think the program would've done from 03-07? Assuming all scholarship limitations, probation, whatever was still in place, just replace Shula with Saban.

You can't compare USC to Bama situation. Pete Carroll left the cupboard full. Last year they started as pre-season #1 and had more 5* on the roster than any other team in the country. Same can't be said to 2002~2003 Bama team.
Mike Dubose already nuked the program before 2001. IF UT gets hammered Bama/USC style now, it'd be similar to Bama situation.

Told who? I didn't need this hack to realize this. And Kiffin sucking is not breaking news.

Probably avg. about 8 wins a year.
