------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems like several posters are confused about the team boards and their function.

The goal of this thread is to provide us regular posters a better understanding of each team board and how they work.

NOTE: This is not a debate on how the team boards should or shouldn't grant access.

(I plan to update this OP as questions are answered, so please feel free to add your own questions and I will see about adding them to the OP.
)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1a. Which team boards have admins? (Mods)
Alabama
Auburn
Arkansas
Mississippi State
Missouri
Texas A&M
Kentucky
Tennessee

1b.. Which team boards do not have admins?

Georgia

2. Who are the admins on the team board?

3. Which team boards are not accepting outside fans?
Auburn,

4. What is the criteria for getting accepted to each team board?

(Chicken has veto power for any poster on any board.)

Alabama: Unanimous support by the boards mods

Mizzou: When new members are accepted, it involves a person asking, getting a Mizzou poster to sponsor the applicant , and then a board vote.

Kentucky: You request admission to the board via the Team Board thread, we put you up for a vote in this thread. We give it a few days for folks to give input and then decide whether you get access.

Texas A&M: admission policy is to post in Chicken's access thread up top on this board and then one of our admins will start a thread asking the board to vote and discuss for a week before you are admitted or denied. Posters that haven't been around long will probably not even be put up for a vote until they establish themselves on tRant.

5. How do boards that do not have an admin decide who gets accepted? (Carolina Tide question)

Thanks in advance.

1. Alabama has mods
2. They are incognito
3. Don't know, I haven't tried access to any other boards. Though I did support your application to the Bama board.
4. Unanimous support by the boards mods

I advocate for an open borders policy once we get mods that can cover the board for the majority of the day to knock out the less tasteful stuff.

However, the political environment on the board is currently leaning towards a temporary closed door policy.

I will maintain the good fight.

When new members are accepted, it involves a person asking, getting a Mizzou poster to sponsor the applicant , and then a board vote.

Are you an Admin too? Or just a regular poster like the rest of us?
