This loss felt a lot like the Alabama loss last year.

I knew deep down we weren't going to win but I didn't know our entire offense would be staying in Starkville, causing us to look like clowns.

I don't know who called the plays and I don't really care, the fact is Koenning is Mullens puppet and Mullen has total control of the offense. The fact that Mullen held us back and said not taking any chances on offense was on him is absolutely pathetic.

Also, Scotty Strick apologizing via twitter was absolutely pathetic. If we ever want to get to the next level we can't dance around the big boys and not play games like this.

Very impressed with our defense. If you told me Ok state was going to score 21 points before the game I thought we would have for sure won.

The only thing that is getting me remotely interested in Alcorn State Saturday is Dak playing the entire game. I truly feel bad for Tyer getting hurt but Dak needs some chance to get in there and see what he can do.

@TogeySprings I didn’t apologize. Just said I was responsible because there had been some criticism about playing tough opponent.

@stricklinMSU @HailStateFBall that's embarrassing to apologize for playing Ok St Only apology needed is the Croomesque offensive performance

@Wool34 I didn’t apologize. I accepted responsibility. There’s a difference

We have a lot of fans that seem to think Dan was calling plays too. That's not what Dan stated either.

We have a problem. There is no doubt in that. It was not players. It was stupid play calling. We went run happy. They decided to load the box, and we never made them honest. To that degree, DAN is responsible for not stepping in and saying we have to throw.

Yes, we got to have change at the OC, but come people......

When I saw Dan on the sidelines chewing his play chart, I knew he was either lost or had given up. Saban would have been going insane in some ear holes trying to breathe some life into his players. He reminds me of Croom in his lost moments. Dan has mastered the art of talking a good ball game but laying eggs of late. I hope he can break out of his funk, but I have my doubts.
