I assure you that's not the basis for the hatred. I mean sure, that's a reason to look down on them and laugh because of how nerdy they are. But the unabashed, pure, HATRED stems from far more than that.
Btw, I think this rivalry is one of the more underrated in the country as far as hatred is concerned. Go to a UGA/gt game in Atlanta one time and you'll see why they're our #1 rival, and always will be.

Yes, and it is very appropriately named. It had one of the biggest on field brawls I've ever seen, but of course (just like our epic field rushing in 2000) since it was before the internet was THE INTERNET it gets forgotten because it's not all over the place. And it was on thanksgiving no less.

Georgia Tech grads have the highest average starting salary for all BCS conference schools. So yeah, they could be your boss one day.

Literally has nothing to do with who is in charge. Software developers and engineers make a good chunk of change coming out but most of those guys don't have management skills.
