Auburn has more talent overall.

I see it a lot in this thread, where are people getting this from? The "more talented" Auburn (minus Cam Newton) hasn't beaten the "less talented" Arkansas since 2007.

not saying I necessarily agree with it, but it's probably coming from the fact that Auburn has consistently had higher ranked recruiting classes than Arkansas... again, I'm not saying I believe there's actually more talent on AU's roster, but that's likely the source.

This coming from a fan of a team that lives in the bottom of the SEC
Actually Arkansas has never gone winless in conference play or finished last in the division
Arkansas in conference play:
79 wins - 90 losses - 2 ties (46.8% win)

Auburn in conference play:
100 wins - 70 losses - 2 ties (58.7% win)

Ole Miss
63-105-0 (37.5%)

MSU
61-107-1 (36.4%)

Looks like Arkansas is closer to being MSU than being Auburn.

Also, Arkansas finished last in the west in 2000, 1997, 1996, & 1994. They've only finished SEC play with winning records 6 times in the 21 seasons they've been apart of the SEC.

lets be honest here...Auburn has always had "more" talent...what is the head to head again?

Coaching at this point goes to Bert and you're a homer if you think otherwise

Bottom line is this.....we both sucked monkey balls last season. Sure, y'all beat us, but let's all be honest here, that was a straight up special needs kids fight.

No matter what, we are both bound to have "better" seasons this year.

Can I use a similar argument when folks say our Offense IS going to be again this year?

It took two coaches quitting/sucking for you to even get that close.

Should have viewed it more like your record with Alabama. Except they hired Saban and we hired Chizik.
