Behind Auburn and slightly ahead of LSU.

I was listening to local Vegas sports radio today. Vegas has JFF worth 7 to 7.5 points a game.
Without JFF for the year, aTm's over/under win total goes to 7 and they become a half assed bowl team.
:kern:
ETA: a lot of the local books have taken aTm games off the board for betting as of today.

Nope, hate to tell you but you would fall to 16 or 17
That is a big arse piece to the aggie offense

It was obviously sarcasm... You think I actually believe Auburn is better than LSU... c'mon man!

I have the sarcasm meter turned off tonight

What is their backup quarterback situation?
If the Spring game was any indicator, their backup quarterback situation blows. I know they didn't show everything there, but their second team offense struggled greatly against the first team defense, and we know that first team defense won't be near the best this season.

Its not as bad as everyone thinks.... But dont tell anyone.... If JFF cant play we are going 0-12 and will forever be termed a one hit wonder.
Sumlin is a mastermind with catering offensive schemes for QBs we wont have as big of a drop off as everyone thinks (albeit we wont be as good without JFF right away)

Number 11
Ags have 3 losses without JFF
Probably 2 losses with JFF but if we get past Bama who knows....
Sumlin has a great offensive scheme and Ags have capable and athletic QBs. Ags will score points with/without JFF. The extra that JFF brings at crunch time would certainly be missed if he does not play vs Bama and LSU.
Ags still don't have the defensive depth needed against top tier SEC teams but getting there.

None, because they are 3 walkons

Wasn't it a fairly close qb battle last year when fall practice started?

A&M 's offense is still very good without JFF. Obviously loss of electricity but the back ups are good and the OL,RBs and WRs very good.
The D. Struggle.

Yes, but the best guy he beat out transferred somewhere.. Showers is gone so no real experience left. The biggest problem with Sumlins offense is it is pretty complex so they are limited offensively for 5 to 6 games.
Really all came together for Manziel in the second half of the Ole Miss game last year. From then on we moved the ball almost non-stop. New QB is going to have a similar learning curve. BIG problem for the Bama game since it is relatively early in the season.
