I know we touched on this before and agreed its hot all over the south which I agree. I have spent my day from Texas to Florida primarily.
But I will add this. How often are big games played this early and could the HUNO and chasing JFF be a factor?
To show I come in peace I feel Bama wins this game by 10-14.
2 wild cards however maybe a 3rd - you tell me.
1- A&M's D. If the unknown players can just step up a bit it can help the Aggie cause.
2- A&M replacing Swope and EZ. Lots of new talent. Ricky Seals Jones is almost a hybrid WR TE looks to be a hoss right away. Enough?
3 - will heat be a factor because of the up tempo offense? Is this a wild card or not?
Without a wild card or 2 showing up I see A&M in trouble.
Bama - what do you think on my points and if you had to say what worries you about the game what would it be. I know you don't like that kind of talk - but what would you be worried about most if you were coach.
Thx. and God Bless.

Texas heat is different (and worse) than Alabama heat, but I don't think it will be a deciding factor. These boys are use to playing in 90+ degree weather, and as long as they stay hydrated and keep their electrolytes up, they should be fine. Also even though they are more accustomed to playing in that type of weather, the A&M players better be careful too.

One factor on the heat, Kyle is set up East/West and the Aggies are in the shade while the visitor is in the sun.
It really all depends on the day, it isn't unusual for September days to be over 100. Could also be in the '80s. They did make a policy after a couple of particularly brutal games heat wise about 10 years ago to not have mid day games unless TV demanded it.

Yes. Bama will lose by one touchdown per one degree of heat over 70 degrees.

If it does get in the 100's (I hope not
) I think that both teams will be extra cautious to not cause heat stroke. A&M will have a slight advantage since they will be use to it, but not by much.

Bama players should fake injuries to slow down the A&M offense.
AMIRITE A&M fans?

No you don't.
Anyways, playing against someone like JM will always be tough on a defense. If any defense can hold up it would be a top notch SEC defense though. And Alabama has one this year. Revenge factor yada yada, I honestly think Saban is in some bat cave right now tweaking his game plan to stop A&M. And "stopping" might be too generous. Maybe just contain. But holy shite A&M is gonna see a very focused Alabama team.
I'm just worried about the rest of the schedule. A&M might take a lot outta Alabama and they have a serious schedule to make their way through this year.

Sure, but the bigger question all things considered, as of now, is JFF. Wouldn't you agree?

touche'
I think I will have a glass of wine.
No I do see Bama winning here. Too much front 7 question mark for A&M to have any realistic expectation.
Maybe the coaches and players know something but until we see it I have to assume Bama can move the ball well. Causing A&M to crown and then going over the top. Keeping D off field so they can get a stop ten repeat.
I mentioned the wild cars. Another wild card might be to let JFF run it even more. Plays with JFF looking to throw or run are all crazy. If the run isn't moving I look for that.

I'm just frickin' with you, champ. Your name (and your implied age) make for a great opportunity to make a whole lot of Trailer Park Boys Jim Lahey jokes.
And you do seem to drunk post a lot...
ETA: I broke the link. Fixed.
