A.J. has a chance, if given the right situation, to work his way into a good spot. But outside of guys like Andrew Luck, QBs are so difficult to judge at the next level. For every Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning, there's an Akili Smith and Ryan Leaf.
Yep. Really hard to say and Manziel is only a RS Sophmore right now. AJ has done well, but is generally put in positions where he should succeed and has a lot of weapons around him. Great O-line, great rushing attack, talented wideouts, Yeldon is GREAT out of the the backfield etc.

Manziel just needs to worry about getting out of the SEC alive for the time being.
THIS
But...Manziel is a fun story and all, but no way he does crap in the the NFL, so AJ.

McCarron in the long run.
JFF as Rookies.

Both will be excellent. Look what they are currently doing to NFL defenses....I mean SEC defenses.

How do you grade backup?

who was the last USCjr Qb to play in the NFL?

McCarron reminds me slightly of Matt Ryan, who has been pretty successful. Manziel is hit or miss, we'll find out which this year I think

McCarron reminds me of Graham Harrell.

This isn't a debate as of right now. If AJ gets a little more accurate on his drop ball he should be a successful NFL qb. His accuracy on other throws is really good. JM throws the football like he is throwing a baseball sometimes. His footwork in the pocket is atrocious.

Neither strike me as a guy who would be successful in the league. I'd say McCarron's game translates better to the NFL level even if its in a back-up role. I don't really know what to say about JFF's skillset, it doesn't seem like an NFL game, but I guess he could be that one guy who can still do what he does in the NFL, although I dont see Johnny being able to run around the backfield in a zig zag for as long in the pro's.

Russell Wilson is the same size as Manziel and is doing well.
Russell Wilson also played a lot of college football, and he doesn't get happy feet. He sits in the pocket and makes throws because he knows he can't run around like a chicken with his head cut-off because he'll get hurt or make a mistake. The height factor is one thing in common, but they are very different styles.
