JFF obviously. But I doubt Hill sees the field this year. haha

You can point to lots of question marks to A&M. Loss of 2 starting LB, loss is Demontre Moore, loss of WR Swope.
But Oline will be very solid.

Yeah, because all Johnny will be able to think about when he's playing is a couple of stupid arse tweets that he sent months prior.

The Tide's line may be a little better and definitely deeper. A&M has a couple of issues on OL recruiting. In my opinion they need 2 Jucos. But as for this year their line is tight. Kenny Hill or Kyle Allen will get the privilege of the line without the 2 big tackles.

And Mike Matthews, Jake's brother, was the number one center in the country in 2012!!!!!!!! DO RANKINGS MEAN NOTHING TO YOU PEOPLE?!!?

No.

Yeldon, Gurley, Hill, Cooper or JFF
First and foremost, we don't even know if he'll be playing this next season, or for how long (I'm not aware of any ruling that has been handed down just yet). Second, when is the last time LSU had the same running back lead them in rushing for 2 consecutive years? Charles Scott in 2008 and 2009? LSU running backs like Alfred Blue and Kenny Hilliard that are more than capable in this league and have proven to be able to start in this league. In fact, Alfred Blue may be the most underrated player in the SEC.

Wishful thinking is really getting pathetic.

quote:Outside of Cyrus Kouandjio and Anthony Steen, Alabama's offensive line is a question mark. They'll have 3 new starters and it won't just be an easy fix. I don't expect them to be terrible by any means, but it's impossible to tell how good or bad they'll be in 2013. This could, and probably will, impact TJ Yeldon, AJ McCarron, and Amare Cooper.
The Tide's line may be a little better

Hill might due to lack of playing time, he is probably the most likely. I couldn't say of those left who is most likely

It has to be hill when you talk about a real dropoff, theres probably a chance manziel has a dropoff but thats from being the best player in the country so no shame in that.
Yeldon- he will get the starter carries, close to 1500 yds
cooper- a yr older plus mccarron being back will help him
gurley- georgia returns whole o-line and murray so he should put up big numbers

You are right, we will not have any tape on the teams that we played last year. Manziel makes it happen, but we have plenty of weapons. JFF could finish with less total yards than last year and still have a good year just because we have play makers. Our running backs alone merit plenty of carries and touches. He will be a more polished passer with Evans leading the receivers and he might not scramble as much. Still, he does whatever he wants on the field.

Do you people really believe this when you say it?
Bama had 9 games of film. OU had 12 games of film and a month to prepare.
Manziel was nearly unstoppable after getting some game experience under his belt. There was absolutely no sign of coaches being able to "figure him out" as the season progressed. His best game was probably his last game.
Manziel isn't a gimmick that gets figured out. He's a playmaker that gets better with experience.

So basically "how dare they choose the player on my team...they're so pathetic"

For being as good as the are its amazing that Bama is also the most delusional fan base in sports. It almost seems impossible. Yet.

No, it's the baseless assumptions that he will be worse because apparently NOT ONE swinging dick watched a second of film prior to playing JFF. NOT ONE, right? Oh, but now, all of the sudden, even though evidence is DIRECTLY to the contrary, he's gonna have a slump.
It's just wishful thinking. That's all you can do is wish that he won't show up as the guy that was damn near unstoppable for the last 6 games of the season.

I don't think he will put up last years numbers...but I don't think he'll have much of a slump either.
