With Aaron Hernandez likely to be locked up, why not form a US Prison Football League- The USPFL?

They could play games from late April (just after NFL draft) and have their Super Bowl in mid August.

THUG-POS's could keep their skills up while doing their time.

PERHAPS EVEN HAVE WORK RELEASE TYPE PROGRAM IF THEY TAKE ONLINE COURSES TO BE ABLE TO PLAY WITH A COLLEGE TEAM

I'd rather my tax money get spent on that than some tPOS's healthcare. At least a prison football league would provide me some entertainment.

I actually think it would. The gubment could market it and it would be primetime. San Quentin vs Fort Leavonworth. Hell, I would tune in. Just have to keep the do good ears from saying we are profiting from the prisoners. You would also need to prevent lawsuits. These "playaas" would not get the same treatment for a blown knee that Adrian Peterson does also. It would be football in a pure unbridled form. I would welcome it. But it does seem to sound like a bad movie.

It would be awesome until someone gets shanked on live TV on the field.

Then it would be more awesome.

Who wants to start a petition for it on the white house website. I would watch that all the time in spring and summer.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Urban Meyer looking to expand his recruiting base.
