Meanwhile, we're stuck with Mitch Gaspard. Who has nearly the exact same record as the ousted AU coach. Only Gaspard managed three regionals in four years.

Oklahoma won the Big 12 Tournament this season and advanced to a super regional for the second straight year. The Sooners are three years removed from a College World Series appearance under Golloway, who has led them to the postseason in eight of nine seasons.

Compared to the shite Jacobs could have pulled, this is a grand slam hire for him. I figured he'd go and give Gabe Gross the damn job.

I don't think he's ever coached outside the state of Oklahoma.
I don't think he's a terrible coach, but I don't think he's a program builder either.
