What part of we don't mind playing UF every don't you understand. This is not the problem LSU fan have with the schedule. The problem is Bama plays the sisters of the poor 3 times every year and doesn't even win their division and gets a shoe into the MNCG or blows right through with only 2 hard games and goes undefeated.

I bet the aggies and gumps would be crying if they had to play UF, UGA then their west schedule.

I don't care we'll beat them all anyway.

Yes. The point is that LSU has to get beat up by the better East teams, while Bama skates through the weak sisters. Bama is afraid that they will get hurt by paying the toughies, so they fatten up on such football powerhouses as Tenn, Ky, and Mizzou.

Then why does UF hide behind Tenn to avoid Bama?

FIFY

The SECE teams owe UT a big ole thanks for taking a more than certain loss, by playing Bama every year, off their schedules and helping them have a better chance at the SECE title.

In other words, he is basically calling LSU and their fans crybabies...so take that

So given another bridge year, what are the odds Alabama plays Florida or Georgia in the regular season in 2014? Zero?

Maybe the SEC will expand again and add a patsy for Alabama.

They can't remember anything other than 21-17 and 21-0 but don't blame them, PTSD is hard to overcome.

So if playing Florida is such a great thing, why does Saban hide from it?

How does he hide from it? He has played Florida 4 times since he has been at Bama

Hate to agree with a bama fan, but he's right in the last 3 games against Florida not only has Saban and Turdville beat florida, but they plain out whipped em

At my age & having watched SEC football since 1961, I am not one who believes in conspiracies. However, if any bama fan out there does not believe that the Bear threw his considerable weight around the league office, then you, sir, are a fool. And the same applies to Saban. Does he make out bama's league schedule? No. Does he have a lot of sayso about it. Unquestionably. At LSU he had absolutely no stroke in the league office, so while he did bitch & moan, LSU under him always took a bullet. Now that he's at bama, he does have the stroke, as with getting the Iron Bowl removed from that Friday date, a date he always hated & bitched bout when LSU had to play the hawgs. He felt that anyone playing on that Fri after a Sat game the wkend before was at a competitive disadvantage. But to think that someone as obsessed with full control of the process does not get involved with his team's scheduling is again a fool.

Jesus, if you would just go to a REC meeting one time...

People that say REC this and REC that, have absolutely zero idea of what they are talking about.

Is Mississippi St in every schools top 3 in time played? LSU has played them more than any other school IIRC. I know Ole Miss has too, and now they're Bama's second most common.

Negative - they are Alabama's MOST common opponent.

But yes, they are the most played team for Ole Miss, Alabama and LSU.

They are Auburn's 3rd most played.
They are also Tulane's 3rd most played.
