Aggie baseball eliminates Florida from the SEC Tourney and may have ended their season. Daniel Mengden threw a complete game with 11Ks.
We get the regular season champs tomorrow at 4:30. I almost wish we saved Mengden and risked it with Long on the mound.
If we win we get the winner of USC & Mizzou/State (in the 9th tied 1-1 right now). If we lose then its the loser of USC & Mizzou/State.

Still disagree.
A win over Vandy, State, and one other top tier SEC team puts us at 34-27 with an RPI in the high 30s.

Childress thinks the Vandy win punched our ticket.

It's going to be really close. One projection I saw had us in Eugene with Oregon and Ok State.

yeah, as of right now we're probably on the right side of the bubble but if the wrong teams win in their conf tourneys we'd be bounced. We need to get another win to be sure

bubble watch is officially on. As of right now we have a 32 RPI and 7 SOS. Traditionally that's enough.
Unfortunately it's the 9th highest RPI in the SEC (and not coincidentally we were the 9th seed for the SEC tourney). The good thing is a 12-team SEC has average about 8 bids over the last 5 years. So 9 is certainly not out of the question this year. Really going to have to sweat it out til Monday as we're likely going to be one of the last in or first out though

UF isn't getting a bid over us so that puts us at 8th best.

btw, we all thought we were on the bubble....but we got a 2 seed, not a 3. And UF got at 3 so I guess we were ahead of them (though I think the resumes were close depending on what you are looking for)
One thing clear though looking at who they took off the bubble, they gave a lot of emphasis to SOS which I think is good because it will encourage schools to schedule good non-conference games
