Our schedule is only considered easy because we're so good. Give our schedule to a mid tier SEc team and it would be hard for them

Give your easy-arse schedule in 2012 to TAM last year, and the Aggies go instead of Bama the SEC C.G.

TAM just got a small dose of what LSU has to swallow every year, and TAM lost a chance to an SEC Championship because Bama gets Tennessee each and every year.

The permanent cross-divisional opponent rule is blatantly unfair, and the SEC needs to have its nose rubbed in it every time the LSU faction gets a chance to raise the subject.

Alabama had Tennessee locked in back in 1992, when the divisions were created.

Going back to 1989, from the stretch of 89 - 2007, Tennessee had an overall record of 181-54, with 10 Ten-Win seasons. They ranked #5 in the country in winning % over that stretch.

Winning Percentage

Going from the actual separation of divisions in 1992, Tennessee was 152-48 with 9 Ten-Win seasons. They are still #5 in Winning % in the country during that stretch as well.

Still #5

Of course, Tennessee goes into a nose dive in 2008, the first year Alabama gets into what people now consider the dynasty. Basically Tennessee sucks when we get good, and thanks to the psychic division at SEC HQ who saw this coming back in 1992, we're prepped for some historic runs!

Oh, and if Alabama and A&M had swapped schedules?

We wouldn't have had to play LSU BEFORE A&M, and would've gone undefeated.
