I wear a jersey to every sports game I go to.
Usually a few of my buds will wear matching jerseys, last Egg Bowl we were there we were making fun of how ridiculous Ole Miss fans feel that they need to play dress up at every football game.
Pretty pathetic.

No, but not because of their athletics, because the SEC already owns the Kentucky market. Nothing for the SEC to gain.

No...Louisville is a commuter school and so is Memphis St, USF,UAB,UCF etc etc Academics? You got to be kidding.
UL had a great year...they biatchslap UF in the Sugar and won the NCAAMs title....I tip my hat, but dont want them in the SEC. As mentioned, we already have the KY market, we dont need the free shoes univ because we already have the premier school in the state of Florida...dont need Ga Tech and their pocket protectors...they shoulda stayed in the SEC back in the 1960s. Clemson? Ditto...we have the state school and dont need taters.
Mizzou? I do think an east team like NC State or NC or Duke would have been a nice pick...but they are what they are...Mizzou will improve. They at least have the academics in order.

Question for UK fans in general: do y'all dress up for football games too, or do you just wear whatever you want?
Or is basketball season the time when your fan base brings out good polos?

I have season football tickets, and am more of a football fan than a basketball fan overall. Most of my UK gear is football related, or says Kentucky Football on it somewhere.
It's the same at Commonwealth as it is at every other stadium. Some people dress up for the occasion, and some look like they just rolled out of bed.

well winning the BE has been a hell of a lot easier to do than the SEC or Big 12.
damn near half the teams in either conference would have multiple BCS bowl games if they were in the BE the last 10 years.

You have to start playing the game with them sometime or another. You know the reasons why they start these threads. Boredom, trying to get 5+ pages, etc.
