Final SEC record prediction

I picked our baseball team to go 17-13 in the SEC after we took 2 of 3 in Fayetteville... After scoring one run over the last 27 innings I feel pretty confident in saying this team is going to have to fight tooth and nail just to make it into postseason play... I'm saying 13-17... Thoughts? Opinions?

Tonight's game doesn't bother me so much... Vandy is twice the baseball team we are and Corbin has been coaching circles around Bianco for years... What worries me the most is this team, literally, does nothing well... Nothing... And we will lose a ton of key guys at season's end... We could be single digit SEC wins bad next year.

Just a typical Bianco team that blows through our OOC schedule and then hits the wall in the SEC.

It's 1-1 in the 7th and Allen walks and he pinch runs for him knowing his spot in the order was going to come up again and Helsel and Wilson were due up with 1 out. Allen had gotten on twice (more than anyone else).
Starting Helsel and Wilson screwed us in the 5th on a missed sign where Helsel got thrown out stealing. He thought it was a HaR, Wilson didn't.
All his defensive subs late killed any chance of offensive production in the 8th and 9th.

We are gonna be a 3 seed in someone else's regional I'm calling it. I'm tired of average baseball.

We have Jake fricking Overbey on our team... That kid doesn't even make the squad for over half the teams in our conference.... And we had him starting at SS during regional play last season.
I'll gladly eat crow if we get hot and make some noise in conference play but I don't see how it happens... Like I said...We're not good at ANYTHING... The only identity this team has is that they pitch well with men on base... But hell, we have to ... 1-2-3 innings are few and far between with this group...They can't field... Lowest BA in the SEC since conference play started... We don't even run the bases well.

Doesn't matter where we go for a regional.. We have good pitching. If Laxer or Smith can round some rough edges off so our offense can give them a chance, (which they haven't the last 30 innings) then watch out.
State is in the same boat. The products as a whole are not omaha worthy in and of themselves, but pitching is a wonderful thing. And i believe we have it.

We have scored 2 runs in our last 33 innings of baseball... I'm not passing judgement on this team cause it can't be judged until season's end... But that is terrible... Blame the new bats , blame the coaches , blame the players... Doesn't matter... It's pathetic.

I agree with you.
I don't think this team is very good right now. Pitching is shaky and the bats are essentially dead. One thing the team was doing well early in the season was situational hitting. Several guys were coming up with big hits late in the counts and with two outs to score runs. Not so much lately.
