Agreed,some people just hate them to do it but the band is garbage. Every song sounds the same and is the same progression of constant power cords. They are a commercial band. They are the Wal-Mart of rock music. But, to each his own I guess, everyone has a different opinion.
ETA: I think most of the hate comes because Chad Kroeger may be the biggest tool ever.

Eh. I've never been a big fan. As said, a lot of their stuff sounds the same. But I know a lot of people who say the same things about some of the bands I listen to so to each his own.
