Miami was missing a few starters then, but they are a good team.

Well, besides all FGCU needing to do is win their conference tournament (probably one of the weakest in the country) and drawing one of the worst tournament teams in recent memory...
I am a huge Georgetown fan. Whole family went through there and if it wasn't for scholarship money and what program I wanted to be apart of, I would have gone too.
That being said, Georgetown is ducking awful in the tournament. I feel like a Red Sox fan pre 2000s thinking, 'This is going to be the year!' and being very disappointed.

FGCU is definitely a good team.
That being said, if you watched the game, JTIII couldn't control the emotions and decision making of his team. His team was playing like there was 2 minutes left in the game when they had an entire half. Hurling up off balance threes, making stupid fouls, technicals and mistakes.
I like JTIII as a GTown fan but he needs to install some discipline. You have to evaluate when you shoot 30+ 3s and you are sub 20% from 3PT FGs

I don't take anything you say seriously
I don't give a damn what you think. It's true.
Jacobs has proven time and time to be incompetent in hiring coaches and doing his job overall. Yet his boss keeps him employed when he had a prime chance to fire him alongside Chizik. Jacobs didn't hire himself, and he can't keep himself employed. It's on Gogue now.
It's like a toddler in a room with a permanent marker. He's already started scribbling on the walls. You either take the marker away or take him out of the room altogether. If you don't eliminate the problem, what do you expect him to do?

Isn't Gogue term for president coming up? From what I've heard he doesn't want to be the one to make the big decisions being that he's sort of a lame duck.

Ummmm...University Presidents aren't an elected position, nor are they limited to "terms." They serve until they leave the University.

Link it then...I assume the BOT votes him in

A search committee interviews candidates, then goes to the BOT with their suggestion, who then votes to offer him the job. He's hired in the same fashion most public school officials are.

Either way my premise doesn't change. From what I've read/heard he doesn't have interest in being the President for a terribly long time. Not every president wants to be the famed & renowned Michael Adams.

The BOT extended his contract until the end of the 2016-2017 academic year back in 2010.

I wonder if a bunch of students stood outside his office constantly until he resigns if it would work?
