TideSaint- Other than Sam Bradford, who has Oklahoma produced that has done anything? Josh Huepel? Jason White?
Not sure if serious...
Yea..those 3 plus Landry Jones in 12 years..2 Heisman QB's and all 4 in the Heisman hunt at 1 time...but i guess that's not impressive to a BAMA fan
Texas Tech? How many of their QBs have done shite?
Again...not sure if serious.
Texas? They won the NC due to Vince Young's running ability, not because he was a great passer.
Not true, he was a great QB.
Richt? The perennial underachiever? Really?
Aaron Murray would disagree...
David Shaw? Who had Andrew Luck and couldn't even win a BCS game? Again, seriously?
..Andrew Luck that makes millions and had a better rookie season then Peyton Manning..
Kevin Sumlin? He's had Johnny Football who won the Heisman. Big deal. He also had two All-American OTs and a good defense. Let's see how he does this year losing all of that talent. You sir, are an idiot.
I can't even take you seriously...

Again, having the top ranked QB in a class does not equal success. There are 21 other positions on the field.
Do you honestly think that Penn State, who just signed the #1 QB in the 2013 class, is going to win a title?
Hell no. They are on probation and are going to suffer with impending scholarship reductions. Does that diminish Hackenberg's ability?
Using your logic, AJ McCarron should have been the top ranked QB in the 2009 class because his team has won 2 titles.
Again, you sir, are stupid.

Good. Don't take me seriously.
But at the end of the day:
Cornwell >>>>>>>>>>>>>Hansen
Deal with it.

Passing teams that throw it 50 times a game does not equal success.
See your favorite team against a real defense in 2008.
TideSaintQB David Cornwell earns 5th star-- 247 Sports updating Top 247 todayStoops did such a good job with a projected first round QB, who will be lucky to go before the 4th, and the preseason number 1 team. I'll take my teams coaching staff over yours any day son.[/quote

The last sentence makes your posts so ironic.
By your logic....The #1 QB in AJ McCArron's class is better than him because of rankings.

I don't understand how an Oklahoma fan can be talking shite to a bama fan

Actually by his logic QBs don't win championships..... Reading comprehension isn't your forte

TideSaint,
By your logic...a RB from "SEC country" ranked #1 without offers from Alabama, LSU, Florida, South Carolina...is still the best at his postion because the "scouting sites" think so....?
So..you feel that "scouts" word trump a coach that has had success producing the best at that position?

This guy doesn't get it. I guess the SEC winning the NC for the last 7 years has him extremely asshurt.

Well, seeing as Alabama will have produced the first drafted RB in the NFL Draft for the last 3 years, I honestly don't see where you are going with this.
However, these recruiting sites that you are so quick to dismiss usually do a very good job in projecting a prospects placement.
See Jadaveon Clowney for reference.

Wowowowowowowowowow..................
Cornwell was bumped up to a FIVE STAR.........He is better no argument
A lot of different things go into a school offering, for instance if a kid has shown interest in playing for an SEC school early on as Cornwell has, certain schools aren't going to offer and it has absolutely nothing to do with talent level. Your argument about the OU staff liking him over Cornwell is ignorant, they just aren't offering Cornwell because he isn't enamored with an OU offer like the other kid WHO IS A LEGACY. OU staff is getting lazy in recruiting and being an OU fan you should realize this fact as an answer to why OU's success has declined.
And you using VY is also a terrible argument because he was a 5 star and #1 QB in the country coming out of High School.
Also you do realize saying "speaking to unbiased people in Oklahoma about this QB who isn't from our state versus that QB whose Dad played at OU" is like saying "unbiased people in Tuscaloosa told me Bear Bryant is the greatest coach ever"
OF COURSE they are gonna pump sunshine up your arse and tell you the other kid is better.......reason is Cornwell has no interest or very little interest in OU so the other kid who is salivating over the home school MUST be better

There is a lot of truth to this statement. Texas is in the exact same boat as well. They've both become extremely complacent and the results are starting to show big-time on the field.

Why dont you take Stoops and the success he's brought your team and your quarterbacks and we'll take Saban and the success he's brought our team and our quarterbacks. You enjoy whatever mid level bowl game yall get and we'll enjoy whatever BCS bowl we end up with
