With season ticket renewal time upon us, just curious what the real costs for tickets are at different schools.
For comparison, here's last year's donation map for A&M:

ATM gives so many tix away to students.
I guess their fan base just does not provide the demand.

FWIW, we had 6 home games so $450 averaged $75/game for bench seats. LSU and UF were about $100, SC State was around $50 for face value.
I know our tickets are expensive and a bit unusual because of so many changes over the years in our pricing. Kind of mirrors how Kyle is built, one remodel after another.

Student tix are actually half price, not giveaways. Thus $225 for 6 games or $37.50 per game as they are all bench seats. This is a subsidy but it isn't a giveaway.

1. A&M doesn't "give" them to students; A&M students pay for one of the most expensive sports passes in the country
2. Alumni donations are higher in some sections, it is argued, to subsidize the discount for student tickets, which is part of why I was curious to see donation charts for other schools
3. A&M historically has tried to make ticket available for as many students as were willing to pay. As the stadium grew over the years, so did the student sections, with help from student fees at the time of construction.

A&M students pay $240 for season tickets and it's about to go up to $300. They aren't getting anything free.
Unfortunately, A&M charges its fan base and students more than other similar programs.

LSU's 2012 donation chart:

One of our problems is for many years you could donate $25k and get tickets for life. You haven't been able to do that for a long time now but essentially that took out a lot of prime tickets out of the equation. A lot of those folks are dying out though and every year it is fewer and fewer. Some have basically given them up voluntarily as well because they are Big Money folks. A few of the really smart ones put it in their kids names.
The prices they are talking about for the new Kyle are eye popping and make these look cheap. Some of the luxury seating they are going to put on the West Deck is going to be ridiculously expensive.

I've heard of "Jr.'s" continuing to use their dad's endowed life seats after the old man died, hoping the Foundation never noticed.

Clearly, Aggies are overpaying in both donation amounts and ticket prices compared to the other SEC schools.
I pay $1400 donation for two seats + 495 per seat ticket price = $2400 for two endzone seats.

I don't have time to post the chart, but at USC you pay three times:
1. Gamecock Club Donation.
2. YES (yearly equitable seating fee). This is a seat license you must pay to retain the seat.
3. Ticket. These run about $60-80 depending on the opponent.
For me, I pay the following:
$1,500 annual GCC dues (Full Scholarship Level).
$800 annual YES fees ($200 x 4 seats)
$2,400 for 4 season tickets - 8 home games.
$220 parking pass in fairgrounds.

One of my best friends is an LSU grad. She called TAF and asked how much she had to donate to bypass the waiting list and he told her $15K-20K. She wants club seats in the new addition, so she's spreading out the donations to total that amount for the 2014 season and then will pay the "normal" donation.
