First, we got a recruiting thread for this stuff homeboy.
Second, he is thought to be a huge Bama lean and expected to commit there even with Bo Scarborough committed and 7 other RBs this class
Third, he is from Oxford High School. We don't stand a chance with him

first: i am new to this and didn't know about the recruiting thread.
second: even if he is a bama lean doesn't really matter until signing day and thats a long time from now. and with this staff i say we have a good chance with anyone if thats the kind of player they want and fit into their plans.

First: New people get criticism. That's how they stop being shitty posters and improve to marginally average. Pretty much everyone has gone through it. It is an online message board, unless you are Brannigan nothing is personal. Read the threads on the board before posting and you'll see stuff like "2013 Auburn Football Recruiting Thread: Commits, Visits, Hot Prospects, etc... " pinned at the top. Pretty fricking hard to miss
Second: When it is said that he is a Bama lean, he more than likely will commit when he gets the chance. If we stand a chance, it is a significant uphill battle even with top recruiters and impossible without. Even the best recruiters miss some and when you are going against a childhood favorite team who has won 3/4 NCs, you miss more.
Third: The point that he goes to Oxford is being missed by you. Oxford is a death trap for Auburn recruiting. Do you like burning 100$ bills instead of spending them? Because that is the equivalent to what you are doing with your recruiting time when you recruit out of Oxford as an Auburn coach
Would he be a good fit? Seems like it. Could we get him? Possible. Will we? Highly unlikely at this point in time but things change

Why is it there are areas of the state we just do not do well in? Oxford is one and Gadsden is another. My family is from Gadsden and they are all Auburn fans......

yeh i don't know much about the oxford thing and didn't want to comment on it and make myself look like a fool. i know it is unlikely we land him, would be awesome if we could. i just came across his video and liked what i saw. then again you had devine a few years back with the amazing highschool highlight videos and well...we all saw what that turned out. just wanted some input/info about this kid and what anyone knew about him. thanks for the info and ill be more careful where i post subjects in the future.

There are a lot of contributing factors. Coaches have preferences and biases towards certain schools and affect access to their players and influence players' biases. It can also be said the tradition of sending football players (and other students) to one school and it creates a pro Alabama (or pro AU) atmosphere in the city because the parents, family and friends start supporting the school in bigger numbers. I'm not the one to ask. I know a few things here and there but being home for break I got nothing more than what is posted on the recruiting thread and pay sites
Jones, WareagleKK, Ellitor and a few others usually seem pretty spot on though. Just read through the recruiting thread and you'll see where we are at.
Also, forgot to mention, when you make a thread don't have a cliffhanger thread title like "Please tell me" . Got to include the subject of your thread to the best of your ability.
