Bama is staying at the nicest hotel in south beach the Fountainbleau. It has the best rated night club in the US. Does UA think this is a good idea? I know they should be rewarded but its hard to say this is a business trip and keep the guys from being distracted. Should we be worried?

1. It wasn't our choice
2. I'm positive Saban has hired security to make sure players aren't tempted to sneak out
3. Our players have been working too hard for too long to take a chance not being ready because of a club

Uh oh. Now all Notre Dame needs to do is stay in some run down piece of shite hotel in the ghetto where everyone has to worry about survival for a few days and they'll win the game.... I've seen this shite in movies far to many times for it not to be an accurate portrayal of how these things work.

Orange Bowl has a contract with the hotels. People do it every year.

With all the whoring and partying, Alabama will be too tired to chase the Domers up and down the field. Game over.

solution: get faster whores so that the bama players are in shape for the game.

They're already pretty quick in the 40.

I was the one that brought this up in two different threads earlier in the night, then went to bed. I guess people took note.
Not only is it not a good thing. One of the top 3 DJs in the world is at the FB this weekend. It has been sold out for weeks. The FB and Eden Roc (ajoining hotel) are going to be rocking till sunrise tonight, Fri, and especially Sat.
Bama is gonna be knee deep in the hottest women they have ever seen and a few thousand drunk and or coked up partiers. It is a huge weekend party this weekend at Liv and Akadia (both inside the Fountainbleau hotel).
Be interesting to see how tight a leash Saban can keep on them.

Good thing Auburn isn't playing down there.

ND is at the Diplomat Resort, a few hundred yards from me. Drove by and saw the "Fighting Irish" banner they just put up on the front of the hotel. It is in a relatively quiet, super nice beachfront area. The Diplomat is just as nice as the FB. However, no clubs, not a party scene and quiet area.
ND got the better deal on this one if the game is the focus.
If whores and coke is the goal, bama absolutely struck gold.

West Virginia stated at the Fontainbleu last year. NIU stayed there this year. Anyone who's been in Miami and who's familiar with the Orange Bowl knows teams have been staying at both hotels for years. Had there been a problem in the past, I'm sure something would have been done to change it.

Think of the scholarships that could be had if the team would take it down a notch and stay at Comfort Inn/La Quinta, etc.
