I remember hearing it all the time when I was a kid at games when FL was dominant in the 90s

At the time I had no idea what it meant, so I vividly remember wondering what everyone meant by it.

Edited to add: this was in the context of games when FL was securing its trip to the SEC title game -- maybe you were referring to people yelling SEC in another context

It's hard to tell -- we really haven't seen what he can do under pressure. He'll get a chance in the NFL and may surprise. He seems to have the basic physical tools to be a successful pocket passer.

Did anyone else notice that there was no ice in that cooler and it was like 1/5 full? The *icebath deserves an asterisk just like all Bama's championships.

This whole game has put a really sick taste for college football in my mouth -- ND was only there for dirty monetary reasons and now the refs are making stupid pity calls fro ND

I don't mean to get too philosophical, and in the grand scheme of things, at the end of the day, it's AJ who made this little girl happy, but the truth of the matter is it's become the "cool" thing to do to use your local celeb status to visit a sick kid (and the kids don't know any better so the end justifies the means). But, I don't really get why the masses think celebs are great people when they see a story like this. We don't really know anything about them other than someone coordinated them to spend a few hours of their time at the hospital.

I'm not saying AJ is only doing it because of the attention he has (or will get as a result), but when I see things like this it makes me appreciate the lowly folks (foster parents of disabled kids, social workers, special education teachers and teachers' assistants) who dedicate their lives to compassionate endeavors who will never get a news story written about them, never receive a massive (or even decent in some cases) paycheck, and never have their picture on the front page of anything.

Not saying this to bash AJ, but rather emphasize that there are so many out there who do far more but will never receive any recognition. Such is life...

Think of the scholarships that could be had if the team would take it down a notch and stay at Comfort Inn/La Quinta, etc.

For what it's worth, and I know not everyone believes this, but I do and I know many here do.
