Is the ACC the biggest threat to the SEC's dominance?

Florida State and Clemson seem to be on the rise and now they have Louisville joining their conference soon. If Miami can ever get their act together, I see them being a really good conference in the near future.

yes I have always said that. Most of the ACC is the southeast as well so they have access to the same great talent. the SEC just cares more about CFB than the ACC does.

It's funny we went 4-0 against them on the last weekend of the reg season. I would have laughed then. But now I'm not so sure

they're not a threat right now, the question is do they have the "potential" to be and the answer is yes. how can you argue that when the ACC is sitting in the same talent rich area the SEC is?

Only if Miami, Florida State and Georgia Tech get back to late 80's and early 90's form. Oh Yeah Notre Dame would need to join for football and be the ND that they were under Holtz from 1988-1993 or like the Ara and Devine era's in the 60's and 70's. ND was national title contender for nearly all of those 6 years in that period winning it in 1988. They also won National Titles in 1966, 1973 and 1977.

b/c its a basketball conference. Now the SEC is taking top players out of areas the ACC locked down like VA,DC area and NC.
Its best programs are always over rated

Because they only have 2 schools whose fans show up to games. Try catching the ACC game of the week if it isn't in Tallahassee or Clemson.

The Big 12 was a bigger threat and couldn't pull it off.
The biggest threat to the SEC's dominance is themselves.

No. Florida State is consistently overrated and Clemson is not going to be a threat to anyone as long as Dabo is the head coach.

basically its the Big12 or the Pac 12
if WVU and TCU pan out it will be the Big 12
The ACC is not serious about football if they were they would not have been adding basketball schools while football was dictating everything.
