It's a natural reaction.
In all honesty, Mullen isn't a bad coach. State simply isn't that good this year.
I guess it's a bit of refreshing change to be able to want to fire a coach who has taken you to 3 straight bowl games, at a school who has pretty much sucked forever.

Sorry. 6-6 seasons just aren't our thing. It's time for State to step up and Mullen is not the one to do it. You Mad a little cause 8-5 is still better than 6-6 or even 7-6.
