Will Bret Bielema break 0.500 in the first 2 years at Arkansas?

If you completely ignore the conference he was in he has a decent coaching record. Handful of 10+ win seasons looks pretty good on paper. However, I find myself doubtful when we consider the level of competition he was in and when we look at his bowl record (not impressive at all). I worry he won't break 0.500 when faced with real football teams.
I also question his character for going to a school like Arkansas and leaving Wisconsin. He knew he'd look bad playin second fiddle to Urban Meyer. He's taking the easy way out b/c he knows a handful of 8 win seasons will get him all the praise he wants b/c nobody expects him to get Arkansas ahead of UF or Texas A&M to make the top 3 in the SEC.
Normally the rant is not a great representation of a fanbase but it is spot on for Hog nation. These fans really, really think they're about to have a break out year next year. I hope for their sake he can put something together and not get blown out.

Not many real people in Arkansas think we are BCS bound anytime soon. So, ya, you're wrong in thinking all hog fans think we will have a break out year next year.

This is the most idiotic thing I keep seeing being said. He doesn't want to be second fiddle to Urban Meyer so he goes to the SEC in the same division as Saban and in the same conference as the last 6 NC's? GTFO.

He's got 2 four stars committed in the 2014 class so I'd say no later than 2013.

Interesting responses. Note that there is no actual thought put into the lashing out that arky fans are doing. Any hint that Bielema wont do great sends them into a fury.

Could say the same about Saban any number of times. Like when he left Michigan State for LSU rather than continue to play second fiddle to Michigan.
