Did A&M joining the west cement Arkansas' permanent mediocrity?

I would have to say so, with another legit program on board it only waters down the the scraps a lower-bottom tier program like Arkansas could manage to scrape together anyway.

Of course, I thought it would take 3 years for TxA&M to escort the R-bax to the back of the bus but I was wrong. In just year one, A&M has done more than Arkansas has in 20 years and they will only get Stronger at Arky expense.

Up in your head on Christmas Eve?
Don't you have cajun family that needs your attention more than Arky?

Don't know if you noticed, but A&M is kinda our bitch. Below us as a program.
They just got their first win over us in 20+ years and think they are a powerhouse now, just more evidence that we are their super bowl.

I dont think A&M joining the West was necessary for that to happen anyways.

This entire statement is based on an all-time head-to-head record that does far more to distort the positions of the two programs than highlight the truth.
Fascinating.
Did you know A&M has by far and away the best all-time winning percentage in the history of the SEC?

Yeah, it was possible the worst possible scenario for Arky, not too mention Missouri as well, Arkansas just isn't a football state, never has been and never will be. Their stadium is more like a high school stadium.

I would argue that the rise of A&M certainly will make it more difficult for any team, including Arkansas, to pull top recruits out of Houston and East Texas.
This will hurt Arkansas the most, as the state of Arkansas doesn't produce enough talent to fill their roster and they have traditionally relied on East Texas players for success.
