Is there a certain case I will have to buy? I know having everything fit is an issue.

Not a certain one no, just go get a cheap one from any website they really don't matter I didn't add one cause there are so many different styles/colors you can pick one out you like.

lol man how is that graphics card not overkill?
Posted on 12/21/12 at 8:32 pm to Hog on the Hill
Keep in mind I also run a web development company as well and I'm the animation/video guy so there are times when it comes in handy
not really lol. I mean i do the animation and video/final cut stuff but it is overkill. i just got tired of having to upgrade my video card every 8 months when i was younger so now i just buy one bad arse card to last me 2-3 years. this card will last me well into obamas 2nd term
I've toyed with the idea of taking it out and putting an all in wonder card in there. I don't do pc gaming as much as i used to it's really just beucase I like building bad arse riggs, but i could use a bad arse all in wonder card. won't; do as much for gaming but a top end All in wonder card can damn near run your entire house entertainment system

I'm about to build a new rig, I don't really do any gaming so it won't be as serious as some of you may have.

I took this shite really seriously back 10 years ago. really if yout ake it as seriously as i took it, you come out cheaper int he end.
beucase i would spend 800-900 bucks on shite and it woudl be nice but i would end up upgrading something every 2-3 months. 100 dollar stick f memory here, new SATA hard drive there, new water cooling unit here, blown power supply there, that shite adds up quick and you've spent 800-1200 dollars a year.
now I'd rather just build me a bad arse rig every 3 years. i built this earlier this year and this will last me probably until i'm 32-33 years old and still be more than up to date.

I built mine in late 2008, to give you an idea of how often I build one for myself. It's due. At the time that it was built it was bad arse, considering I'm not a gamer. Now it just pisses me off.
But yeah, I'll probably invest a lot on my next build.

So, are these desktop type computers?
Posted on 12/21/12 at 9:02 pm to SLC
Yes.
ETA: You can build portable desktops, handy if you're a gamer. Not for me though.
