Let's talk local pizza for a second

Just drove by Gusanos in Fayetteville and that parking lot was slammed with cars in line for spots.
My question is, why? Every time I've eaten at Gusanos my guts have been twisted and then exploding the next day. Am I the only casualty to this? It's happened to my father and my brother.
I guess my point is, is there really any pizza in NWA worth waiting in line for?

I'm not huge on gusanos. My favorite is probably the mellow mushroom. But they don't usually have a line.

Freschetta is just as good as any place in Fayetteville and it's way cheaper.

Memphis Pizza Cafe is my go to joint. Its always packed and is frequently voted best pizza in Memphis.

The old Razorback Pizza was still my favorite. The quality has gone a bit downhill from what it used to be about ten years ago, but it's still one of my favorites.

I've never understood how Eureka always gets the best pizza award. That shite is terrible.
I will say though, for chain pizza, we had Dominos about 3 weeks ago when family was visiting and they have made huge strides. I was actually impressed.

Cheese always stops me up, so I do Gusano's w/o. Chicago-style with spinach and ham, no cheese is the best pizza I've ever had. My wife, who can eat cheese, really enjoys it, too.
