It is harder to get into UT than other schools which is where the problem arises.

This means only certain athletes can get in to compete which is harder, and puts a strain on the athletic department.

If it is harder to get in to UT than any other school, premier athletes will go elsewhere making it harder to win, and making it harder to make money.

Just because you lack the intelligence to connect the dots yourself doesn't mean you can tell people they are wrong.

Can you post something supporting your position? Thanks in advance.

Suppose that is true. It has literally nothing to do with the school "using the AD like an ATM."

The school (UT) shouldn't be using the AD like a damn ATM. When the football team is struggling to fill the stadium, generate revenue, and sell merchandise, they shouldn't have the burden of giving money to academics. UT needs a lot of money just to recruit in the SEC since the state doesn't produce enough talent on its own. Sounds like y'all got some mismanagement going on up there.

Have you ever heard of John Brown?

There was another recruit that couldn't get into UF but went to UT at the last minute this year as well.

You are silly and mildly entertaining.

According to the US News, UT accepted 69.7% of its applicants. By comparison, Alabama accepted 43% (subject to change due to rolling admissions), Auburn accepted 70%, Arkansas accepted 60.9%, Georgia accepted 63%, and Florida accepted 63%.

I'm sure UT is a fine school, but your assertion about it being that much more competitive to get into sounds pretty much like bullshite. Any other stupid unsubstantiated statements you wanna make?
