BCS National Championship Game Day Fan Zone


The BCS National Championship Game Day Fan Zone is the ultimate game day pre-party! Adding to the frenzy of game day, this ticketed interactive event, has college football fans from all over the country kick-off game day with some of Miami’s hottest local talent, interactive games, sports memorabilia, stage contests, food & beverage, performances from the marching bands and cheerleaders and then a performance from our headlining artist all on stadium grounds!

Injury Report

Barrett Jones OL (Foot)
Jones is dealing with an injured foot but is expected to play in the BCS National Championship on January 7 against Notre Dame.


Jesse Williams DL (Knee)
Williams left the game on December 1 against Georgia after suffering a knee injury. He remains questionable for the BCS National Championship on January 7 against Notre Dame.


Kenny Bell WR (Leg)
Bell has a broken leg which will require surgery. He will miss the remainder of the season.


Jalston Fowler RB (Knee)
Fowler sustained a knee injury against Kentucky on September 8 and has been declared out for the remainder of the season.


Dee Hart RB (Knee)
Hart is sidelined for the entire season with a knee injury.


DeAndrew White WR (Knee)
White will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury on September 29 against Mississippi.


Jarrick Williams DB (Knee)
Williams underwent season-ending surgery after suffering a torn ACL during practice.

A horde of nude Bama fans. That beach will never be the same. The tattoos seen there cannot be unseen.

There's a pep rally on the beach Sat. or Sun. (I think one is for ND and the other for Bama but not sure which is which) with band and cheerleaders. There will also be live music but the performer hasn't been announced yet:

Saturday Janaury 5

Miami Chapter Happy Hour, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Clevelander Hotel on South Beach.
- No cover charge and drink specials all day!

Alabama Pep Rally 5-6 p.m. Ocean Drive, 6th Street to 9th Street. With the Million Dollar Band, Big Al, Cheerleaders + UA Celebrities. There will be live bands, interactive games, contest, Championship Trophy Photo ops and more! FREE ADMISSION.

Following the Pep Rally, we'd like to direct all our supporters to the Clevelander bar



Sunday January 6

Broward County Chapter 6:00 p.m.
Gathering at the Quarterdeck on A1A on the Beach. Meet Bama Fans, free admission and drink specials.

Also found a viewing party set up by the Broward County Alumni assoc at the Lauderdale Yacht Club on 12th st.

Anyone have any ideas for parking. Missed out on advance parking pass. Orange bowl website says day of parking is 40, just not sure if any is available
