He may win the best player award this year but i believe sec defense Cordinators will be ready for him next year. The key will keep him in the box and let him beat you with the pass.He hasnt proven to be that good of a passer when left in the pocket. If that doesn't work then he goes pro after next year anyway

This is an original topic which has not been posted before. Thank you for your enlightening commentary.

All it took was 2 quarters for John Chavis to shut him and that offense down

Will Muschamp is ahead of the curve.
We already knew that though, Muschamp was the only D-coordinator who shut down Tebow twice.

No players get better from their Freshman year to their Sophomore year, ever.

Do you have a newsletter I could subscribe to? I would take out a second mortgage just to fund it.

...or get better after they figure out they can't scramble every play in college..

Not so sure, 4 years couldn't coral Tebow. Some people are awesome in college and no matter what you do you might contain him, but for the most part they thrive. He might be one of them.

Yep, same with Ole Miss too. We already have plenty of tape on Gus' trickery offense so Auburn won't surprise us either.

You obviously didn't watch Johnny the entire season...he struggled in the pocket vs Florida and LSU...but got better EVERY game...by the end of the season he was a good pocket passer. Once he learns the entire offense he will learn to stay in the pocket and pick teams apart even more.

Yeah, probably. But he was a bad arse this year. Which is all that matters.

So Johnny gets figured out by forcing him to throw?
Just taking notes

oh please. there is nothing new to "figure out", its all about personnel. UF and LSU shown what it takes, its about whether you have the personnel or not

You are observant ... Other teams will adapt while Johnny fails to improve. All of His offseason effort will be in vain, yielding no result or improvement. At all.

He will lose a lot on the o line this year as well

Ignore the Klein side.
Meanwhile, Mettenberger was 4-2 against the same criteria, with 5 TDs and 2 INTs.

Florida and LSU had a good game plan against Johnny...no doubt...however the rest of the SEC just assumes Johnny will not get better (which he already has every game this year).
