There are many great mascots in the SEC:
(Not sure of some of the names but please correct me if I am wrong):
'Tiger' the Auburn War Eagle, and Costumed Tiger
(forgot his name)
Al the Red Elephant
Ugga the Bulldog
Reveille the A&M Collie
Al E. Gator
Rebel Black Bear (Miss Colonel Reb)
Cocky
Volunteer Dog (sorry forget his name)
I am of course partial to our 'costumed Mike', and Mike VI, our live 750 pound Bengal/Siberian Tiger - a tradition that goes back to the mid-30's started by Trainer Mike Chambers and continues to this day with Mike VI who lives in his own 10,000 square foot man-made habitat and is cared for daily by the nationally ranked LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.)

I have to go with Volunteers first. Followed closely by Gators.
Then you can have your Razorbacks, Crimson Tide, and Gamecocks, in that order.

you got several of the mascots wrong fwiw.
Crimson Tide
Volunteers
Aggies
Rebels

War Eagles
Plainsmen
Maroons
those are not mascots. The ones that I quoted were actually wrong. The Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and A&M mascots listed are wrong.
The Crimson Tide is not a mascot. The reason I quoted the other teams past names; like the Mississippi State Bulldogs use to be the Mississippi State Maroons. History

if the mascot is considered a nuisance and can legally be shot on site it cannot be ranked #1
and that mascot is raised for slaughter to feed people. it's like having a cow as a mascot or something.

You may be in the dipshit minority who doesn't comprehend how the internet works. Take yourself too seriously much?

I saw no reason to wait on the teams that prefer to drag their seasons out. We always like to wrap things up early to get a head start on next year.

So not presenting myself as a complete retard means I take myself too seriously? Got it.

Are you not aware that a nickname and a mascot are not the same thing?
Tennessee's mascot, for example, is a hound dog.
A&M's mascot, is a collie.
Ole Miss' is a bear.
The list could go on.

No, acting like things posted on message boards are facts, to be taken at face value, makes you a dipshit.

Good point, but I think most people got my drift

Probably already been mentioned, but maybe OP should do a little research on the mascots correlation to the school before starting this thread.
Just a suggestion.
If you go look at LSU's you'll see the correlation. And it's a damn good one.

Of all the mascots Mike is my favorite. I'm also proud that LSU told PETA where to stuff it when they protested LSU getting another live tiger.
