that was a disgrace, hopefully someone takes action and suspends him for the title game.

Murray led with his helmet, learned lesson.

Jesus, it was a clean hit. Was it cheap? Yeah, but it was legal and the ref was right to not throw the flag. He was running toward the ball carrier following his interception, he was fair game.
Y'all need to unwad your panties.

Dial led with his shoulder and hit a player who had turned into a defender. It was a vicious hit and could have been called but Dial didn't launch and didn't lead with his head.

If a QB doesn't want to get hit, he shouldn't throw interceptions.

Cheap shot, but not an illegal one. If I were a coach, I would be furious at one of my players taking advantage of a defenseless QB like that.
But it's not illegal. He clearly led with his shoulder, despite the helmets contacting each other. This play was a display of poor character which can be done within the rules of football. Nothing to criticize with the referee.
On the other hand, Slive may decide to take action. That's within his discretion.

This is why AJ has only thrown 3 all year, and two of them he led the defender out of bounds so that there was no return

When you start penalizing players for legal clean hits then you turn into the whack arse NFL.

Saban should make Dial write an apology.

Are you upset? I can't tell.

Even if they threw a flag to unwad your panties, it had no bearing on the game's outcome.

Any true football fan would have a major problem with this hit.....and there is absolutely nothing clean about it.
And you KNOW you'd feel the same way if this were AJM getting hit in the same way. Take of the Crimson glasses and see it for what it is.
