They are a good team with a good defense, but they aren't elite because they have no offense.

Problem is if you let every other team have their "ifs" then yours would end up irrelevant.
If LSU hadn't played prevent they would have beat Alabama. IF LSU didn't lose 2 starting LBers to injury they wouldn't have lost to UF.
If USCe hadn't turned the ball over they could have beaten UF.
LSU would be undefeated and in the SECC game and getting a rematch with USCe.
