Your ideal SEC?

Just curious, what would be your preferred SEC?
16-team? 14-team? 12? 10?
Which schools?
How many divisions?
This is different from the SEC layout topic from yesterday because I'm asking which schools you would add or drop from the conference.
All of this realignment and "teams to SEC" talk just has me pondering things.

12 teams.. like it was before we pulled aTm and Mizzou.

4 teams.
Bama
Auburn
Tennessee
Georgia
Of course to make that work the calendar will have to add several more third saturdays in October.

my ideal SEC would be 12 teams, two divisions of six, with a 5-3 conference schedule, with one permanent cross divisional opponent.
same teams we have now minus arkansas and missouri.

I'd love a 10 team league with a 9 game conference schedule so everyone plays everyone.
Even though A&M has proven to be a worthy addition, I would have to cut them and Missouri out since I'm still not used to it.
I don't remember the SEC before Arky and USCe, but since they are also the latest additions I guess kick them out. I'd rather see the Mississippi schools go personally.

To answer the OP, I want 12 teams

14 team, 9 game schedule
Or 16 team(still East and West division), with an 11 game schedule.
I want three year max to get through the schedule. Anything less is unsatisfactory.

sorry we would never allow this to happen, if only the big 4 remain we wouldn't have 10 plebs to boss around.

I'd keep Arkansas and boot Mizzou and Kentucky.

Clemson can't beat teams from the SEC. It's been proven over and over.

I liked the 2010 version, but if we had to add two, it should have been Texas A&M and Clemson or NC State.

16 team 4 pod
Pod A
A&M
LSU
Ark
Mizzou
Pod B
Bama
Auburn
Ole Miss

Pod C
Vandy
Tennesse
Kentucky
Virginia Tech
Pod D
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
UNC
9 game Conf Schedule
3 Pod games
4 Games from second pod on a rotating basis
2 games from the remaining 2 pods (1 game each)
With this set up you could retain LSU/UF, Bama/UT, etc. if you wish and still get to play every opponent in a rotating 3 year span.
