Is there a logical reason why we take Griffin out after every 7-8 yard gain...

You aren't the only one. It doesn't make sense. Talked to him in class the other day and he said he doesn't know either

I'm afraid of a transfer...

He won't. He loves it here regardless. At least that's the impression I've gotten this semester. He's a really laid back guy.

If Dak and Nick deserved to start next year, do you guys think Dan would start them? Because I don't think he would.

I think Perkins will get his role reduced next year, but I don't think Russell will get benched. It's a tough situation...Prescott is probably the best fit for the offense, but it would be really hard for Mullen to just screw over Russell like that.

I don't either. Nick said something similar to that one day about the situation. He more or less said the reason he didn't start much was that it was Perks spot.

Josh Robinson has had hot games this year too.. He and/or Griffin should've got touches in the 2nd half, straight up the middle. We played to their strengths on the ends and got caught every time..

Where are the people from October trying to argue that Perkins was better? Maybe against Troy yeah, but against legit competition he is mediocre at best. Griffin and Robinson have looked like legit stars at times this year.

ALL of our RBs are mediocre at best against legit competition because when we play better SEC competition our OL can't create any running lanes.

We actually don't know that because Mullen fricking clams up when we play legit competition and just lets Perkins dominate the carries.

Attempts Yards YPC
Perkins in conference: 123 509 4.1
Robinson in conference: 29 161 5.6
Griffin in conference: 22 153 7.0
Small sample size and all...but it would be nice to see what Robinson and Griffin can do with more carries.

Griffin could be a MSU rushing yds per season contender imo.
Well, maybe not with the current OC..

Well who knows what his average would look like with more carries. It is that good because he broke off some long ones (60 yarder against Arkansas helps a lot).
I feel like he has beaten out Robinson for now though.

frick that. If Mullen wants to win the bigger games he needs to play our best player. I don't care if the best player is a fricking true freshman.

Oh I agree just laying out the convo I had with Griff the other day. Not the exact wording but its what I took from it.

everyone pump the breaks...as someone said before our OL cannot create running lanes at all...there lies the BIGGEST problem on O. Perk and Russell are going to get the nod because they are both going to be seniors.
