What if UGA wins a close game? will FL go then?

didn't read thread but OP logic = flawed

2011 - the SEC champ made NC and the last spot was between an OSU who won their conference and had 1 loss and a Bama who only lost 1 game also.

2012 - ND makes it because they are undefeated. 2nd spot is the winner of SEC championship.

situations would only be similar if ND had lost a game.

Not going to happen. Kill this stupid thread and anchor it.

If Notre Dame had lost, then Florida would be going to the BCS game. The difference this year is that there is a team with a perfect record that isn't in the SEC.

Bama doesn't deserve to be there. Fla, K State, and Oregon all have better schedules and wins than Bama.

Alabama is Oklahoma St. - Fine season, won their conference, good team, but struggled in their only big games of the year. Lost at home and was down by 20. Actually, 2011 Oklahoma St had a better resume than 2012 Alabama.

Florida is Alabama - Really great season, lost a close hard fought game to the #3 team on a NEUTRAL field while committing 6 tunrovers. Has wins over 4 Top 10 BCS teams including 2 on the road. Actually, 2012 Florida has a better resume than 2011 Alabama.

Oh...the eye test....sorry. Got it now.

Florida is not Bama....the media doesn't love them like they love us. They won't get the nod like we did. Thanks for playing!
