All fanbases have certain key words and dog whistles they use that give them away when members of said fanbases pretend to be neutral or pose as the fans of another team online. The OP's phrasing bears all the hallmarks of a fan of The Univeristy of Texas.

Both A&M & Texas can be highly successful at the same time.
I think this is true, but with the caveat that Texas, Texas A&M, and OU cannot all be highly successful at the same time. One of the three has to be (at least slightly - as in capped at 8/9 wins) down. Add to that the recruting pressure of LSU in Houston, and someone's going to feel the squeeze.

I find this thread futile. You're own players are giving us respect and practically "slobbing on our knobs"--perfect example is Sam Montgomery. When you're own players are saying that Texas A&M is the real deal then that must be the truth.

That is already happening. Oklahoma has been almost locked out of the state of Texas this recruiting season.

Considering your allegiance its no surprise you are so very highly suspicious, but again you are wrong. I am not a fan of The University of Texas, but I know plenty of UT fans, and likewise A&M fans. You see what you want to see anyways regardless of what I tell you.

Nick Harvey, CB, Lancaster HS. 4 star per rivals... 2014 is shaping up to be pretty damn salty.

I am sorry I missed this butthurt, burnt orange beatdown. This is just hysterical.
1. Best team in Texas.
2. 10-win season.
3. Heisman frontrunner (likely winner).
4. Playing in the best conference, hands down, bar none.
5. arse raping on the recruiting trail.
Maybe this whole "Little Brother" thing isn't so bad.

Look, I change my frickin fan thing all the time and I am not a Georgia fan damnit, so STFU. I know Im not the only one who does this either. TIGGER=Tiger, LSU Tigers, maybe check my post history to see where I have posted and who I am in favor of, if you would have done that instead of taking the easy road out and just simply looking at a tiny symbol next to my name you would know that i am an LSU fan
No one cares to read your biography

Clearly if you have friends that are Texas fans you are an expert on everything Texas and A&M.
A&M's rise is staggering but it is also long term. The huge graduating classes starting from the '80s are hitting prime donor years. The new Kyle Field is going to be BDS level. The new facilities will match it. A&M is about to have its first Heisman winner in over 50 years and he is a FRESHMAN. We are larger than Texas. We have more political clout than Texas. We are older than Texas. We also are in a FAR superior conference than Texas.
Yes, Aggies will always enjoy watching the sips suffer just as sip fans do the same for the Aggies. So what?
Live in the past with your dated perceptions of A&M all you want but in the end the joke is on you.

At 5-9 and 175 pounds, Harvey is a consensus four-star prospect considered among the top defensive backs in the class in the state of Texas in a loaded 2014 class. He could play safety or cornerback at the next level, with 247Sports and Rivals listing him as a cornerback, though he plays safety for Lancaster on the defensive side of the ball.
Holding offers from Arkansas, Baylor, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, and Virginia, the high school playmaker who fills a variety of rolls for his high school team was highly coveted prior to making his decision.
That decision came as a bit of a surprise. Harvey has been one of the more quiet prospects in the 2014 class when it comes to recruiting, but had said within the last two weeks that he was "still open to everybody ($)" and wasn't planning on making a decision prior to his senior season.
It was not immediately clear what made Harvey change his mind, but he had taken an unofficial visit to College Station late in October.
Still early the process, the Aggies are already assembling an impressive recruiting class with the addition of Harvey, who joins Dallas (TX) Skyline cornerback Cedric Collins and Gilmer linebacker Josh Walker, serving notice to the Texas Longhorns that securing the top prospects in the state will no longer be as easy as it has been for some time, as both Harvey and Walker were Texas targets.
Another 2014 star, La Porte (TX) linebacker Hoza Scott, could also join the class in the near future with a December decision planned.
