aTm is the premier team of Texas. They ended up being a nice contribution to the SEC.

Yes, this is the best team they have had in years but it couldn't have been at a better time. Had they come in and sucked they will have been a bottom feeder from here on out. Now they will put up a good fight. At least as long as JFF is there. It will be a matter of time before Texas no longer has dibs on most Texas kids.

To think that Mack Brown passed on both Robert Griffin III and Johnny Manziel because he only offered the safety position to them . #notTexasgood

ask 2007 Tim Tebow how being the only good player on a team works out...they will still be a 2-4 loss team year in and year out.

You know it's been like one season, right?

All I'm saying is that their recruiting will be much better now than it would have been had they come in and stunk it up. Better recruits=better team. I know ol jonny is carrying them but you can't deny that this exposure compared to the negative exposure they'd have without him puts them in a better position to be a contender.

To guy below: yes I'm aware that this is one season, but it couldn't have been a better start for their first year in the SEC. (aside from winning the west).

Recruiting was never the problem for them. They have at least 4 first rounders on this year's team alone.

Coaching is looking 10000% better this year. All I am saying is their team revolves around the QB...not just their offense, but their team. Much like 2007 UF.

Our defense has been a pleasant surprise this year. They were clutch against your team. JFF plays a big part, but he doesn't play defense.

If it wasn't the only game on I wouldn't have given them a thought in the first place...

You mean you're not watching the shite show that is Patriots/Jets?

I agree that I'd rather watch a crappy college game than an average NFL game.

We have 3 first rounders(all JRs) in Joeckel, Matthews, & Moore. Swope is 6th in rec yards. Evans is 4th in rec yards. C-Mike is 5th in rush TDs. GTFO of here with that.

agree.

no matter how well he recruits, as long as mack brown is at texas, his teams will be soft and under achieve. if texas gets a really good, motivated coach there, we will all be sad.
