Something has to change. This is the third loss of the season that came in this format, they pair nicely with the three losses where we got blown out.

ETA: I don't think we should fire Pinkel.

Since he recently got a divorce he has a lot of time on his hands so retiring at age 60 like he has said on several occasions probably is not on his to do list now.

If that is the case I go back to my xmas list and getting Dave Christenson back as OC is critical for him to succeed.

Wyoming is on a 3 game winning streak but maybe he can get fired or forced out and that makes him available for us.

Put Yost as Head Recruiter. That is a job he is very good at.

I'm sick of Pinkel.

The guy preaches loyalty and family nonstop, yet shits all over his REAL family. frick him.

He's clearly not the same guy he was just 5 years ago.

In about 5 years he's still going to be paying that 20g's a month to his ex wife, he'll have a baby and another women to support who realized he is an old arse grandpa with a giant forehead.

What a fall from grace Mr. Loyalty.

No. When you watch the team leader laughing and shooting the breeze onthe sidelines while your backup is trying to keep the team in the game, it is time for the Franklin era to end. Though Berk is not the answer, he has the fight.
Hopefully between Mauk, the Georgia and Staley recruits, someone emerges as a true leader for this team in the spring.

No it's not time for the Pinkel era to end. I'm as disgusted and pissed of as everyone else over this game, and season for that matter. You simply do not boot a guy out after one bad season when he has done so much for your program.

The off season changes has to be made to the coaching staff. We have discussed the names, so need for me to bring it up again. This area is where Pinkel doesn't have an option, and Alden needs to let him know this. Pinkel needs to know he is still our HC if he still wants it, but in order for that to happen, his blind loyalty needs to end here and now. It's his choice.

We have some good recruits coming in and let's see how all this goes. This is our first season in the SEC. It didn't go like we hoped or anticipated, and I'm ready to forget this POS season and move on to basketball. Hopefully we can redeem ourselves there.

Yeah. He's done his work here but it's time to move on. His blind loyalty to his poor coordinators was his downfall. Out with pinks

Here's my discussion......Yes, long over due.

Let him get on with what ever life changing events that has transposed this team into a three ring circus, and ship him and his coaching staff down the road.

I think it's time to shoot the Pinkel copter out of the sky.

Yes. It's been 12 years, we've seen all he can do. Force him to make some coaching changes, if he complies he gets one more chance. If he refuses, then he's gone.

I've speculated all season that I think the idea of starting over in a new conference doesn't excite him. It's a daunting task, and he's already been down that road rebuilding Mizzou.

But none of this matters. He won't go anywhere, Alden will give him a pass.
