Sorry about that. The other two LSU fans in here said Florida is a bad one loss team and are very unimpressive. I just responded to the wrong person.

I'm sorry reel gator, you are delusional. You must not have seen the abortion your team our on the field last week. What you neglect to notice is that the back ups you exploited are playing as good as any starter now at this point and we are now playing good football on both sides of the ball. LSU has progressed and UF has regressed throughout the season.
I know this hurts but deal with it boss. I'm putting some tissue and Boudreaux's butt paste in the mail for you now for the ensuing butt hurt that is inevitable for you once you see the truth after you lose to FSU.
Sorry to break it to you. It's obvious to most but some are naive.

Wins over:
#7 LSU
#8 Texas A&M
#9 USC
Loss to:
#5 Georgia
Has anyone been more impressive than UF?

Florida has the record right now. No, they haven't been impressive at all the last few weeks, and that's why they're being snubbed. Basically, all the predictions having LSU or A&M in a BCS bowl are also predicting Fla will lose to Fla St.
If Florida wins, then they're in. It's as simple as that; impressive or not, 11-1 SEC team with 2 recent titles will be the pick.
The reasons they are picking against Fla is how they've played on the field: LSU looked good in a loss to Bama and racked up a lot of yds. Fla looked good on the scoreboard against S Carolina, but got something like 150 yds; then looked weak on offense again against UGA; then even weaker while squeaking by ULL. Fla, basically, is on life support trying to finish the season. LSU looks like it found its offense, and A&M is spunky with Manziel.
All Florida has to do is win, and it's in.

To the aTm fan who said that when and if one of the 3 undefeated teams lose, they will just fall a couple of spots in the rankings. Wrong.. they will fall just like Fla. St did. Maybe not out of the top 10, but behind a few 2 loss teams. If Oregon,Kansas st., or ND lose, they will fall behind a 2 loss LSU team. Weather it's fair or not, it is what it is. SEC Powerhouses, when they lose, they fall 1 or 2 spots, everyone else fall 5 or 6 spots. I think Kansas would be the only team of the three, that would't stay in the top 10 after a loss.

One problem is many have seen LSU's improved play....and the ULL youtube is starting to make the rounds.

LSU might have improved but they still have an L in the column next to the opponent named Florida.

Listen 216 kitty breath, I watched a great deal of LSUs game against a really bad AU team that ULL might roll...but I didnt/havent or ever discounted LSU's abilities...so maybe you want to rethink your position of inferred superiority, cause you got a glass house with a few cracks. I could also say UGA struggled againbst a hapless UK team...that honestly almost beat them...but UGA beat us. They deserve their ranking of # 5 BCS.
Do you want YOUR team evaluated on the basis of the AU game? Or just the close Bama loss and the A&M/USC wins? I thought so kitty. Stop with the poison arrows at UF. Our defense is how we win games and Im not apologizing for being # 6 in the BCS. You # 216 are delusional my feline friend.

I would think A&M in the Cotton against Texas or in the Fiesta against a Big 12 team would be a natural fit - if the Big 12 team is really KSU I suppose some of the luster comes off that idea
But really A&M has a large fan-base and is thirsty for some sort of nationally recognized success - that's going to appeal to the bowl organizers because it should mean butts in seats.
If the BCS at large opening that presented for the SEC were the Orange Bowl I'd blindly guess Florida would be a better choice but that's just a guess. LSU is a good fit for either of those but probably not the geographic or historical? winner as a choice that A&M might be for the Fiesta or Florida for the Orange Bowls

UF is going to have to solve some O issues with a nicked Driskell (if he even plays) or I'm not sure they get past FSU.

I suppose a UF loss to FSU would be good for LSU in a way - if LSU is hoping for a bid to the Orange Bowl (which off the top of my head I would think is still a long shot at best)
In the same sense I suppose a loss by A&M to Missouri would really take the wind out of the A&M fanbase and raise the possibility of LSU going to the Fiesta from really unlikely to kinda unlikely.

Hate to burst bubbles with sharp logic. Jacoby Brissett is a very very good qb...he barely lost out on qb battle through spring/summer. He has poise and came in with the game on the line against ULL and delivered a 39 yd pass to Jordan Reed and a 3 yd TD strike to Quinton Dunbar. The ability of Brissett should not be questioned. He will get to play all game against Jax State and will be able to lead us against the girls school if necessary. He is a dropback passer and doesnt do lead option that well (black qb is dropback and white qb is runner...hmmm, destroys that myth)qand we have Trey Burton for option stuff. Jacoby has tendency to throw deep...which will open up running for Gillislee.

Reel are you referring to that AU team before they completely quit? Are you also referring to a game that happened before our game with you to prove we haven't gotten better?
What's up with the feline friend shite? You 12?
If you can't see how your team has regressed and ours has got better then you must be blind.
