I think the SEC should chunk geography and do one of two things,
This divisional setup:
West should be called a non geographic name and include:
LSU
Bama
AU
UT
UF
OM
MSU
Division 2:
Vandy
Arky
Mizzou
TAMU
UGA
SC
UK
Or upper and lower divisions with relegation of the bottom 3 teams in the upper league.

Off topic but geographically Missouri is the 3rd most west-lying campus of the 14 conference schools.

Unlike LSU, we actually don't mind having a harder division schedule and don't want to cake walk into Atlanta every year.

I feel like the best solution is 9 conference games.
